All funds raised from registrations and sponsorships go towards supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds and organising the event.
Vulnerable children from Save the Children Iasi educational centres and students with very good results in school but with reduced material possibilities supported by Pro Ruralis Iasi are supported through the Iasi Half Marathon. Last year, for example, €45,700 was donated to these two causes.
The 2023 Ambassadors, Crina Pintea, handball champion, Mirela Lavric, athlete, Adrian Vasile, coach of CSM Bucharest and Delia Tudose, model and ambassador of Save the Children Iasi support the good causes involved in the event and invite all those who love running to sign up for one of the races of the event:
21 km half marathon,
10 km cross-country run, supported this year by the Borg Warner company,
the 5k cross-country run, supported by Eset,
the popular 2.5k race, supported by Centric and
children's race, sponsored by Visma.
